Raha is a platform for booking bus tickets between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Yemen, operated by Basha Technology Investments. The operator you book with runs the coach; we issue your ticket, collect its price and return what is due back to you.

When you write, include your booking code (it starts with RAHA-) and the mobile number you booked with, so we can find your booking at once.

Common questions

Where is my ticket?

In the app, under My trips. The ticket is saved on your phone the moment you pay and works without a connection: show the driver the QR code at boarding, or read out the short code printed on it.

Changed phones? Sign in with the mobile number you booked with and your earlier bookings are linked to your account and appear under My trips.

How do I pay?

With bank cards, and with Apple Pay on iPhone where it is offered; the methods shown when you book are the ones available that day. Every price is in Saudi riyals; an approximate amount in Yemeni rials may be shown beside it for information only. Payment happens on the payment provider's own page, and we never store your card details.

Every booking has a payment deadline, shown on screen. If it passes, the booking is cancelled and the seats are released, and nothing is charged.

Can I cancel and get a refund?

Each operator sets its own cancellation policy. It is shown to you before you pay and on the ticket, and that is the policy that applies to your booking. Cancel from the ticket in the app; the refund goes back the way you paid.

If the operator cancels the trip or cannot run it, or the border crossing is closed, you are refunded in full.

What about the border crossing?

The platform shows the crossing's status as it was last confirmed, and when. If the last confirmation is more than 48 hours old we say the status is unconfirmed rather than repeat it. The crossing appears as a point on your journey with an estimate of how long it takes, and the operator is your reference before travelling if you are in doubt.

Do I need an account?

No. Booking without signing in is always available. Signing in with a code sent to you on WhatsApp is optional; what it buys you is that your tickets follow you to any phone.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: My trips → Delete account, at the bottom of the list. What is deleted and what is kept is set out on the account deletion page.
